Slim Safont has not been doing street art for very long, but he has been making waves in Europe in recent years. Rightly so, because his metre-high paintings - influenced by the work of masters such as Joaquín Sorolla and Anders Zorn - are gems. Time and again, the Spaniard draws a kind of tranche de vie that is enormously hard on the imagination and in this case also - the work gives out on a playground - wants to break with the macho culture of young people. For Slim Safont, it is clear: boys are also allowed to show emotions and seek comfort from each other.
