Maya Hayuk is, without exaggeration, street art royalty. Her awe-inspiring, geometric patterns are world-renowned, as is the explosive colour palette the American artist invariably employs. However, Hayuk also has Ukrainian roots and she even studied in Odessa for several years. That is why today she wants to draw as much attention as possible to (the victims of) the war in Ukraine and makes only house-high murals in the colours of the Ukrainian flag.
