Anyone poking around on social media is guaranteed to bump into work by 3D artist Leon Keer. Even though the Dutchman's work is mostly temporary, his anamorphic 3D tableaux are immortalised on the like-machines. Keer sees his creations as live performances and likes to dialogue with the audience. In doing so, he does not shy away from social themes, but playfully highlights them.
As a true resident of Delft, he chose the typical white and blue vases in Ostend and places doomsday scenarios linked to the climate on them. Floods, heavy storms, extreme drought: a warning of what is to come if we do not take better care of our planet.
