Hoxxoh

Each year, The Crystal Ship invites a contemporary artist to create a first mural. In 2024, that was Ilke Cop. The Brussels-based artist started as a fashion designer and won the Gaver Prize for young Belgian painters. In Ostend, she creates a self-portrait. In it, she draws a curtain over the sea and nature—reflecting both her fashion background and our view on the climate crisis.
