Through an exchange with a street art festival in Cape Town, Elléna Lourens came to Ostend. Her murals stand in contrast to the often busy nature of street art. With as few lines and colours as possible, she builds images that are both calm and powerful. Poetic, without grand gestures. A moment of quiet in a city that usually speaks a bit louder.
