Broken Fingaz

To say that the Israeli collective Broken Fingaz is no slouch is an understatement the size of the Burj Khalifa. From graphic music videos for U2 to erotic comics to ceramic masks, there is little the three shy away from. This is also what makes their seemingly simple work for The Crystal Ship - a peace dove crashing - so special. Broken Fingaz is obviously capable of sillier things. But apart from the fact that there is nothing more difficult than capturing an important message in one simple image, as an artist you sometimes have to resist the temptation to always add more details and colours. Sometimes 'less' really is 'more'.
